“PNP ACG NABS SUSPECT FOR ONLINE THREAT, ABUSE, RAPE”

A suspect for threat, physical abuse, and rape was arrested by the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP ACG) in an entrapment operation conducted on February 22, 2018 at Makati City.

The PNP ACG, in coordination with the Southern Police District – Tactical Operation Center, caught one (1) Erick Almenario Perez, 25 years old, and a resident of Tabing Ilog, Marilao, Bulacan, while naked inside Sogo Hotel in EDSA-Guadalupe at around 11:00 PM of the same day and seized one (1) Samsung cellphone and two (2) Identification Cards in the possession of the suspect.

Based on the complaint filed by an 18 year-old victim from Taguig City, Perez allegedly threatened, physically abused, and raped her in exchange for not uploading her nude photographs and sex videos.

Accordingly, cases for Grave Threats under Article 282 of the Revised Penal Code in relation to RA No. 10175, Voyeurism under R.A. No. 9995, Violence against Women under R.A. 9262, and Rape under R.A. No. 8353 are being prepared for filing against the suspect.
